These would tell us which pages are read and where people stop reading, in aggregate, so that we can improve the course pages. They run only if you turn them on.

There is no agreed standard for how sites should respond to a Do Not Track signal, so we do not act on it. Since we run no tracking without consent, the practical effect is the same.
